Originally built in the 1600s as a Coaching Inn - the Hare and Hounds Hotel is privately owned by Jonathan and Jean Nelsey - who have converted the historic inn and stables into accommodation with 30 bedrooms - The restaurant is located on-site in the original coaching inn - and provides a range of traditional cuisine using local produce - Conveniently located within a mile of the centre of Newbury and the many corporate businesses - The famous Newbury Race Course is 2 miles from the Hotel and the famous Parasampia Golf Course is half a mile from the Hotel - Easily accessible from the A34 and M4 and close to Donnington Castle - Windmill Theatre and the famous Kennet and Avon Canal with its horse drawn carriages.
