  • The resort caters to large families which infringes on the couples when it is time to eat; easy access to the buses which are most reasonable in cost; the staff is friendly in response to a greeting, but few greetings are initiated which is in stark contrast to Puerto Plata.2011-07-10 -

  • Excellent beach; very nice room accomodations; timely and efficient maid service; good food quality for lunch but the eating area needs more attention and staff; too many birds and flies and the live in iguana above your head and then around your table needs to be diminished or eliminated; beach dining in the evening was superb with great food and service; breakfast needs improvement.2011-07-10 -

  • This location was great--we were right in the middle of the High Rise Hotels and downtown Oranjestad with the bus stop right outside our door.2011-06-30 -

  • The Amsterdam Manor has terrific service - we were welcomed with rum punch and a smooth checkin.2011-06-19 -

  • The hotel staff is the best part of this resort - they make an effort to know your name and will help with any issues or questions you have.2011-06-19 -

  • We had dinner one evening at Passions on the Beach - Eagle Beach has beautiful sunsets, and it was definitely worth it.2011-06-19 -

  • Also, take advantage of the kitchen in the room because, as I'm sure you know, food is expensive in Aruba, but don't buy any food from the hotels mini mart (not much of a selection anyway) I would go into town and buy groceries.2010-09-15 -

  • Many of the high rise hotels have rocky beaches and a very impersonal feel although their restaurants are excellent.2010-09-11 -

  • The rooms were average but I could care less because we are never in them except for showering or sleeping.2010-08-01 -

  • The reason why you would want to book this place over one of the expensive big name crowed high-rises (RIU, Marriot, etc) is the beach.2010-08-01 -

  • This hotel is small, comfortable and well-maintained, but it does not have the amenities you would expect from a four-star resort (i.e.2010-06-09 -

  • The hotel resturants were a bite pricey but it is well worth the quality and atmosphere.2010-05-05 -
